The City of Hermitage recently participated in a ribbon cutting at the newly rebranded Sharon Regional Health System, which officially reopened on March 18th. Now operating as a nonprofit through Tenor Health Foundation Sharon, the hospital has already treated over 2,000 patients and employs nearly 600 local workers. The City has also joined other local municipalities and community partners in supporting the hospital's reopening, including a ceremonial check presentation recognizing $11 million in local loan commitments to help leverage additional state and private funding. The revived name and new logo reflect a return to the hospital’s pre-Steward Health roots.
