Orchard Planting at Stull Nature Reserve On Saturday, May 6th, the City of Hermitage hosted a community orchard planting day at Stull Nature Reserve. Almost 30 volunteers, along with City staff, helped plant 40 fruit trees. Members from the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation were onsite to provide guidance in properly planting fruit trees and aftercare. It was a perfect morning weatherwise, and the volunteer turnout was more than we could have hoped for. A big thank you to all who were involved! If you are interested in the continued growth of Stull Nature Reserve, please consider donating to ‘Friends of Stull Nature Reserve’ during Giving Week (June 17th – June 23rd) through the PA OH Gives website at https://www.paohgives.org/ More information on Giving Week and how your donations help Stull Nature Reserve coming soon!
