[ARCHIVED] Tri County Launches Hard to Recycle Program

Recycling Program

If you have hazardous waste in your home that you are having a hard time getting rid of, this program can now help. What is HHW? Leftover household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients are considered household hazardous waste (HHW). These products require special care when you dispose of them Some examples are: Automotive products, oils, garden chemicals, clearers, gasoline, etc. Also included in this program is curbside collection of electronics waste.

The program is voluntary and additional fees apply. City of Hermitage residents may still take their Household Appliances, Tires and Electronics Waste to the City Garage at no additional cost, photo ID required.
