Data Mailers Coming to Property Owners Soon
Tyler Technologies will be sending data mailers to Hermitage property owners within the next few weeks, as part of the county’s property value reassessment. These data mailers will contain information like square footage of building, number of rooms, age of buildings, existence of outbuildings, etc., and are based upon Tyler Field Representatives’ observations and information from public sources.
Property owners should review the data mailers carefully for accuracy, note any inaccuracies by writing corrections on the form, sign and date the form, list a contact phone number, and promptly return the corrected form to Tyler Technologies. The corrected form can be returned by scanning or photographing it and then emailing it to MercerCountyPA@TylerTech.com or it can be dropped off (8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on weekdays) or mailed to the courthouse reassessment office at Tyler Technologies, 125 S. Diamond Street, Suite 504, Mercer, PA 16137. If there are no corrections to the form, then no action needs to be taken.
Value notices will be sent at a later date once all the data has been collected and property owners have had the opportunity to review the data and make any changes necessary. There will be an informal appeals process for disputed value notices.
