The City of Hermitage is launching a First-Time Homebuyers Assistance Program on September 16, 2024. The program offers a $5,000 grant to assist first-time homebuyers, which will be paid directly to the closing agent. To qualify, applicants must not have owned a home in Hermitage in the past three years, purchase a single-family home as their primary residence, and complete a bona fide transaction with Realty Transfer Tax. Applications are available at the Hermitage Municipal Building or online, and must be submitted in person. The program is first-come, first-served and will close after 15 applications.
