Property owners, residents and lawn maintenance businesses are urged to make sure that, when mowing lawns, the grass clippings are not blown onto the street. During rain events, grass clippings get into the street storm water systems causing maintenance and environmental issues. Also, wet clippings can be hazardous to traffic.
