Five Things Friday – Boost Your Business Conference, March 8, 2019 at BC3 in Hermitage, PA
This Five Things Friday is all about why you (small business owner, recruiter, and digital media marketer) should be signing up for the Shenango Valley Boost your Biz Conference
First thing’s first, this conference is local! It is not in Pittsburgh or Cleveland or recorded in LA, Chicago, or some other big city. This conference is being held, right here, in the Shenango Valley. If you ever doubted a technological presence in the SV, check out the presenter lineup and vendor listing (all local!)
Numero two- the ticket price is beyond affordable. The $75 ticket price includes (4) classes, (1) panel discussion, lunch, a swag bag and a (3) month membership with Sassy Girl Media, LLC. Make sure to register before February 28, 2019 to get the $75 entrance fee. Tickets increase to $100 the week before the event
Tres – The presentation topics cover everything from marketing, recruiting, funding your startup and beginner/basic courses on social media and technology. For each time slot, (4) classes will be offered – pick-and-choose which classes appeal to you the most.
Fourth – There will be a vendor marketplace and it is jam packed with local vendors specializing in consulting, marketing and media, career and recruiting and capital ventures. There will be a 10-minute break between classes for networking and time at the end of the day to meet with vendors and other conference attendees.
Finally, there will be (2) 50 minute panels mid-day to learn and interact with presenters and panel members who are experts in this topic. Both panels will take place at 11 am – conference attendee can choose to attend either panel discussion. The first panel will discuss recruiting in the Rust Belt and the mind set employers must take to successfully recruit and fill positions at their company. The second panel, hosted by Deanna Fusillo, will discuss the entrepreneurial mindset and what it takes to be successful in this era of entrepreneurs.
