The Hermitage Business Association (HBA) is a group of business, industrial, and professional members with the mission of promoting the Hermitage area by developing a unified business community, supporting cooperative marketing programs, and supporting the growth of business members. The organization was founded in 1983 to serve the needs of the City's businesses. Today the total number of businesses in the City of Hermitage exceeds 800.

The HBA meets each month at our member restaurants. These meetings provide networking opportunities for business representatives as well as a chance to learn about new area businesses and to participate in projects that build a better community in which to live and work.

For more information about the HBA, please call the Office of Community and Economic Development at 724-983-0900 or send an e-mail to hba@hermitage.net.

ANNUAL FIREWORKS IS A BLAST! (from City of Hermitage Newsletter)

The 2nd Annual Fireworks Extravaganza is fast becoming a Hermitage tradition. The event was a huge success with many residents coming out to enjoy the band as well as a relaxing evening with friends and family. Second Avenue Project entertained a crowd while local food vendors served up their best dishes.

The Hermitage Business Association is proud to be a sponsor of this wonderful and successful event and would like to take this opportunity to thank Karen Reed of Ad Specs and Kevin McDermott of Minuteman Press for their efforts in co-chairing the Fireworks Committee and the City of Hermitage for all of their support and assistance. We would also like to thank our many sponsors for their generous contributions. Without each and every one of you, this event would not have been possible.

Special thanks to our gold sponsors: Ad Specs, Bob Evans, City of Hermitage, Erme's, First National Bank, Hermitage Business Association, The Hudson Group, Huntington Bank, Mercer County Community Federal Credit Union, Minuteman Press, National City, Pyrotecnico, and Wal-Mart.

We look forward to another wonderful event next July 3rd and hope to see you there!
